Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise in the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining warehouse standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
- Operate equipment safely and report any quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Maintain physical agility to move merchandise, operate equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
