Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Hirose Electric USA. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, building relationships with key accounts, implementing sales strategies, and maximizing revenue and profitability. You will play a vital role in positioning Hirose as a key supplier, leading the sales team, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with targeted accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts.
  • Deliver customized product presentations and support customers through the build-out process.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue and account penetration.
  • Lead a Customer focus team and mentor new Account Managers.
  • Interface with industry groups, standards committees, and internal teams.
  • Ensure timely payment from accounts and close collaboration with Hirose Japan personnel.

Requirements

  • BS/A degree in Business or a Technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electronic component industry.
  • Technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Physical Demands

This position requires negotiation within the assigned territory, potentially involving long-distance travel, customer site visits, and event participation. The role may require lifting up to 40 pounds.

Compensation

$90,000 - $110,000 yearly salary.
