Job Description

Join our team at Bmore Technology as an Accounting Assistant (Part Time). This crucial role supports our management team by performing various clerical and administrative tasks to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. The position requires approximately 16 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely payment processing for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Enter financial transactions into QBO, prepare financial reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Reconcile bank statements, monitor transactions, and assist with expense and cash flow management.
  • Review, verify, and process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Assist with financial analysis tasks, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain organized financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support audit processes.
  • Review and submit sales tax payments, reconcile vendor invoices, and manage vendor licenses.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and research software application issues.
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of related experience.
