Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department - Northwest Hospital
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department team at Northwest Hospital. This is a full-time position for the night shift (7:00pm-3:30am) in Randallstown, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources to ensure quality service to all patients, reflecting the hospital's mission and vision.
Unit Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital serves over 60,000 patients annually and has 49 beds. The department handles major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma cases. The staff members are dedicated professionals who focus on providing optimal patient care with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality service delivery to patients.
- Coordinate resources effectively for efficient patient care.
- Lead and support nursing staff in delivering clinical interventions.
- Maintain accountability for overall departmental operations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience.
- Maryland RN License and CPR/BLS certifications.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
