Job Description

The Clumpies & GOOD DOG Catering and Events Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing catering and special events operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high-quality standards. Under the guidance of the Inventory & E-Commerce Manager, this role involves leading a team, managing catering schedules, food preparation, equipment setup, and maintaining client relationships. Additionally, the Team Leader will be accountable for enforcing company policies, ensuring food safety compliance, increasing sales, handling cash transactions, and supervising partners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service and uphold organizational values.
  • Lead Catering and Special Events team to achieve operational goals.
  • Coordinate scheduling for catering outlets and ensure a full schedule during peak seasons.
  • Prepare food to menu specifications and presentation standards.
  • Maintain relationships with event planners for new opportunities.
  • Oversee equipment delivery and setup for special events.
  • Enforce company policies and health standards.
  • Supervise partners, address complaints, and manage cash handling.
  • Ensure Serve Safe Certification compliance and maintain company vehicles.
  • Increase sales through effective customer service and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Food Service and/or Hospitality preferred.
  • Ability to be Serve Safe Certified.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and oversee a team of up to 8 partners.
  • Valid driver's license for event truck and trailer operations.
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $17.4-17.45
