Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation while prioritizing patient care and safety. Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Perform CT scans and related procedures, including IV injections when necessary.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Coordinate with medical staff for timely STAT requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
- Utilize hospital computer systems efficiently for order verification and information sharing.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
