Position Summary:

The Early Head Start Teacher plays a crucial role in providing educational services to young children, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. This position involves implementing a research-based curriculum, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of Early Childhood care and education principles.
  • Ability to teach and assess children from birth to age three using research-based methods.
  • Proficiency in adhering to licensing standards, program performance criteria, and professional boundaries.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Physical capability to engage with children and conduct home visits and conferences.
  • Proficient in using technology and maintaining data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Contingent Teacher: High School Diploma with early childhood services experience.
  • Teacher: Child Development Associate (CDA) or related credential; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Compliance with health, safety, and background check requirements.
