Job Description
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is looking for an energetic and results-driven Energy Development Manager specializing in Grid Analytics to join the AWS Energy Team. As a Grid Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing power flow analysis, transmission planning, and due diligence for renewable energy projects across our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and influence transmission planning models to align with Amazon's growth strategy.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address transmission constraints.
- Conduct power flow studies to explore alternative decarbonization solutions.
- Manage data aggregation and analysis to support key decision-making processes.
- Lead technical due diligence assessments for power connection options.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Knowledge of infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies.
- Experience in infrastructure builds and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Transmission planning and Generation Interconnection studies.
