Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will be responsible for providing safe and age-appropriate patient care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The BHU focuses on older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities, offering a supportive and engaging environment for patients' recovery and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and document patient care and education based on care plans.
- Evaluate and document patient outcomes to ensure quality care delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Strong working knowledge of nursing practices and medical terminology.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
