Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Financial Opportunity Center Coach (Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred) to join our team at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. As an FOC Coach, you will provide essential financial counseling and coaching services to low to moderate-income individuals enrolled in our Financial Opportunity Center program. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized financial plans and provide guidance on budgeting, credit building, and overall financial health.
Responsibilities
- Provide one on one financial counseling/coaching.
- Assist clients in developing detailed financial assessments and budgets.
- Offer strategies for credit building and increasing net worth.
- Connect clients to employment services and income support counseling.
- Conduct workshops on financial literacy topics.
- Establish relationships with financial institutions and community organizations for client referrals.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong understanding of personal finances and financial sectors.
- Previous experience working with target populations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet savvy.
