Position Summary

The Bakery Manager at Kennie's Market is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Bakery Department. This role involves ensuring top-quality products and delivering exceptional customer service to all Kennie's customers.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts.
• Reasoning Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Achieve department sales and profit goals.
• Maintain supply, payroll expenses, inventory, and waste.
• Ensure proper accounting procedures and inventory management.
• Oversee product quality, pricing, and freshness.
• Manage product display and rotation for optimal customer appeal.
• Collaborate with managerial team on merchandising, planning, and sales trends.
• Ensure department cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise Bakery Department employees and enforce company policies.
• Maintain equipment and comply with safety standards.
• Support cross-departmental promotions and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Bakery Department employees.
• Conduct supervisory tasks in line with organizational policies and laws.
• Responsibilities include recruitment, training, performance management, and issue resolution.
