We are looking for a dedicated Histotechnologist to join our team. As a Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. You will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnoses and providing high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform histotechnician tasks including tissue embedding, cutting, slide preparation, and staining procedures.
• Participate in specimen processing and maintain inventory of chemicals, stains, and controls.
• Maintain lab equipment, ensure quality control, and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Certification as a HT (Histotechnician) or HTL (Histotechnologist) by ASCP preferred.
