We are looking for a Histotechnologist to join our team at Corewell Health. The role involves preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist to aid in making diagnoses. As a Histotechnologist, you will perform various histotechnician tasks, including tissue embedding, cutting, and staining, as well as maintaining equipment and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree required
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred
Physical Demands: The position may require occasional lifting, bending, and standing, as well as fine motor skills and specific visual acuity.
