Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by delivering and setting up merchandise safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team in inspecting, loading, delivering, and setting up merchandise for customers.
- Establish customer greetings and conduct pre-inspections to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of all trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old with a positive attitude towards meeting new people.
- Demonstrate a solid work ethic, ability to work independently, and be a reliable team player.
- Ability to provide direction, maintain accurate records, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
