Job Description
We are currently seeking a Hot Die Forging Technician to join our team at ATI in Irvine, CA. As part of our Forged Products division, you will play a crucial role in producing jet engine components for aerospace customers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and precise execution of work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal stock for forging, position hot metal stock on dies, and extract forgings
- Complete quality assurance and part tracking documentation
- Prepare thermocouple wiring
- Operate a forklift following safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math and read written instructions
- Experience with heavy lifting, forklift operation, and quality assurance
- Mechanical inclination

Compensation
Hourly pay rate: $21 to $23 per hour, with additional benefits including a competitive 401K plan, health and life insurance, paid vacation days, performance bonuses, and optional employee-paid programs.
