Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team at Porter Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of HR tasks including employee onboarding, record-keeping, and program coordination to ensure a smooth and efficient HR operation.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and triage HR phone calls, providing support and guidance to staff.
  • Manage new employee orientation, I-9 documentation, and badge distribution.
  • Maintain and update employee files in Workday and handle transactional requests.
  • Develop and enforce procedures to streamline workflow processes.
  • Assist employees with various forms and requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate travel onboarding process and facilitate employee identification and badging.
  • Handle employment verifications and respond to HR-related emails.
  • Prepare bills for payment, manage invoices, and oversee administrative tasks.
  • Produce reports and statistical data using HRIS systems.
  • Participate in department projects, coordinate meetings, and manage special functions.
  • Coordinate HR programs such as onsite orientation, employee recognition, onboarding, and intranet site maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR team and organizational objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business with at least three years of relevant experience in HR or healthcare operations. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential, with experience in Workday or other HRIS platforms preferred. SHRM-CP designation is a plus. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, independence in work, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
