Hydrogeologist

Job Description

Montgomery & Associates is looking for a full-time Hydrogeologist to join our California team. This mid-level position involves managing and providing technical support for multiple hydrogeology tasks and projects. You will collaborate with team leaders, project staff, clients, and regulators, working on groundwater management projects under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
• Interpret hydrogeological data and design predictive models.
• Develop hydrogeologic conceptual models and water budgets.
• Design monitoring networks and analyze data for technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hydrology, geology, or engineering.
• 4-10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Knowledge of GIS, Survey123, and database management.
• Professional registration (P.G. or P.E.) preferred.
• Experience with groundwater models and SGMA projects preferred.
