Role Summary
As a Lead Machinist at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, you will work in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop. Your primary responsibilities will include programming, operating, and troubleshooting multi-axis NC and manual milling and turning equipment. You will lead and train other machinists, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the parts produced.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED Equivalent. Technical degree, vocational training, or a minimum of 15 years of Industry and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently using drawings, process instructions, and written specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in productivity tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with developing NC programs, operating various equipment, and machining different materials.
