Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time, weekend basis. As an LPN, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to professional and non-professional nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and significant changes.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification and attendance at required training and meetings.
