Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Machine Operator to join Advanced Fiber Products. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for handling fiberglass materials, maintaining production machines, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery for the manufacturing of fiberglass products.
• Read and interpret setup sheets to determine material requirements and quality specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections during production to uphold standards.
• Clean and maintain production equipment following safety procedures.
• Adhere to shutdown and setup procedures for product changeovers.
• Cross-train in various areas of the plant floor for versatility.

Requirements

• Prior experience in operating mechanical equipment.
• Ability to utilize hand tools effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and using measuring devices like tape measures and calipers.
• Experience in interpreting setup sheets and production orders.
• Capacity to lift weights ranging from 2 to 50 lbs.
• Aptitude for standing for extended periods and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Willingness to comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $16-$18
