As a Maintenance Technician in the protein and salt business, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on production machinery, ensuring food safety and quality, cleanliness and housekeeping, and troubleshooting equipment with minimal supervision.

• Performing maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.
• Ensuring food safety and quality.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Troubleshooting equipment with minimal supervision and communicating status to maintenance management and other departments.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal & written).
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions on production equipment and show mechanical aptitude.
