Maintenance Handyman

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Handyman to join the team at E V Bishoff Company. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including completing work orders, remodels, alterations on suites, and essential maintenance throughout the building. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and possess a wide range of skills to handle carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, basic plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Complete carpentry work for vacant suites and common areas.
• Install drywall, metal studs, doors, trim, and flooring.
• Operate miter box, wet saw, and other tools efficiently.
• Have a basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate daily with the office manager on job progress and supply needs.
• Report to management upon job completion and address issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills and time management abilities.
• Be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in maintenance and repair work.
• Proficiency in carpentry, drywall, flooring, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills and email knowledge.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $25-25
