Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Join Alpha Transport, one of the leading petroleum transporters in the Western United States, as a Mobile Mechanic. We are seeking a knowledgeable and efficient Truck and Trailer Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our equipment. As part of our team, you will diagnose issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure the safety and efficiency of our fleet.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Complete minor diesel engine repairs.
• Handle suspension, brake systems, and component repairs.
• Ensure tire maintenance is up to standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Willingness to travel between markets.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Must own tools.
• DOT certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Experience in welding.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
