On Call Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced On Call Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical consultations, evaluations, and rehabilitation programming for individuals with a focus on neurological disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injury. Your role will involve designing and implementing individual treatment plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure the highest level of independence for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise interns, COTAs, and rehab aides in carrying out treatment plans.
• Conduct ADL, IADL, and clinical evaluations to design treatment plans and activities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, goal development, and family education.
• Complete timely documentation of treatment notes, progress reports, and evaluation summaries.
• Order individual-specific treatment supplies and equipment as needed.

Requirements

• NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).
• State of Michigan current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• 2-3 years of work experience with neurological disorders, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and/or orthopedic injury preferred.
• Experience with EMR documentation.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Skills

• Experience with eCare User is preferred.
