Job Description
We are currently seeking a Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care PRN RN to join our dedicated team at Denver Health. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify potential health or safety problems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Promote positive patient experience and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Required.
- Less than 1 year of experience; One year experience in a direct patient care setting preferred.
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
- RN-Registered Nurse - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies Required.
- Ability to use medical equipment and instruments effectively.
- Skilled in maintaining effective relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
