Principal Product Owner - Talent Management and Learning

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Owner to join the HR Technology team. In this role, you will collaborate with Talent Management and Learning business leaders to deliver impactful product outcomes while managing change impacts across various business functions. You will be responsible for defining key product features, developing product roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with business goals and technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead prioritization of business requests and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Define product features, roadmaps, and documentation in partnership with business leaders.
• Ensure alignment with product vision and best practices of key technology platforms.
• Create and validate user story acceptance criteria and testing frameworks.
• Implement data quality controls and drive accountability for product delivery timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Workday and SumTotal products.
• Project Management experience (PMP a plus).
• Experience in business requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodology.

Compensation

Base pay ranges between $110,500.00 to $154,900.00, with additional incentives. Factors like experience, education, and location may impact pay.
