Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Denver Health. As a key member of our surgical care unit, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of patients and families to identify health issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs.
• Modify and develop patient care plans based on individual responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, and provide nursing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
• Administer medications, document treatments, and promote positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Valid BLS and RN licenses.
• Proficiency in medical equipment usage and patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in emergency situations and adapt to guidelines.
