Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Float

Denver Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Float to join our team. As a float nurse, you will rotate through various in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, delivering high-quality care to our healthcare consumers. This role requires adherence to professional nursing standards and a commitment to excellence in patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals, families, and communities for health and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in patient conditions.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on responses and conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic patient care.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and promote positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• One year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Valid BLS/CPR and RN licenses.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use and patient care administration.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in emergency situations.
