Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surge Hospital- Based Correctional Care (Nights - 0.9 FTE)

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surge Hospital based in the Correctional Care department, working night shifts at 0.9 FTE. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations, including contracted correctional patients, and to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address the health needs of individuals, families, and communities.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
• Develop and modify patient care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medication.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Less than 1 year of experience (1 year in direct patient care setting preferred).
• Valid BLS and Registered Nurse licenses.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation is beneficial.
