Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join Toyo Tires NA in White, Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment or machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering design software for assignments.
  • Apply electrical engineering principles to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure equipment and systems meet requirements.
  • Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility and application.
  • Plan and direct engineering personnel in test control apparatus fabrication.
  • Coordinate installation activities to meet engineering specifications.
  • Design products and systems to improve machine efficiency.
  • Evaluate installations for design modifications to enhance performance.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability.

Technical Skills Required

  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Design or modify electrical controls to enhance machinery productivity.
  • Program and troubleshoot motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Calibrate electrical systems and components.
  • Read, interpret, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems.
  • Manage projects from concept to implementation.
  • Interface effectively with vendors and contractors.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours when necessary.
  • Experience in utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming is a plus.
