Senior Lead Data Scientist, Advanced Predictive Maintenance

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Lead Data Scientist to join our Novelis Digital Center of Excellence team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert in Advanced Predictive Maintenance projects, focusing on avoiding asset failure and optimizing maintenance costs. You will work closely with plant engineers globally to develop, implement, and improve anomaly detection models for predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Support the implementation of Predictive Maintenance solutions at Novelis plants.
• Collaborate with plant engineers on sensor data analysis techniques for machine breakdown forecasting.
• Design internal APM products using the latest machine learning algorithms.
• Communicate results to non-technical stakeholders through intuitive UIs and presentations.
• Regularly test and maintain analytical models, adhering to best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with data mining tools and industrial data sources.
• Master's degree in computer science or related field with 3-4 years of Predictive Maintenance experience.
• Experience with unsupervised anomaly detection models and OT architectures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
