Job Description
New Era Technology is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will deliver top-quality IT services to our clients, utilizing your expertise in network technologies to drive solutions and maintain customer satisfaction. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining the flexibility of remote work with on-site and client location engagements.
Primary Duties:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of professional services.
- Optimize productivity during projects and tasks.
- Contribute to pre-sale design and consulting.
- Resolve service performance issues promptly to safeguard customer data.
- Provide effective problem-solving and escalation.
- Conduct testing and quality control.
- Maintain customer relationships and product control.
- Meet customer appointments punctually.
- Offer status reports to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Ability to produce clear written communication for updates.
- Organizational proficiency for project-related information.
- Experience as a team lead with a focus on customer service.
- Broad knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking products, and connectivity.
Experience:
- 5-7 years as a Network Engineer.
- Design and deployment of LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
- Proven expertise in network security, capacity planning, and maintenance best practices.
- Configuration and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and network equipment.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- Experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet technologies.
- Hardware troubleshooting and Cybersecurity assessment skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco CCNA required.
- Cisco CCNP and Fortinet NSE 4 certifications preferred.
