Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in developing secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for secure services.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to support cryptographic tools used worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Previous mentorship or tech lead role in engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
