Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects aimed at securing web services through the implementation of cryptography at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
- Deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure and reliable services within AWS.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
