Job Description

Arnold Motor Supply, a leading distributor and retailer of automotive parts with 70 Midwest locations, is looking for a talented Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a local branch, ensuring extraordinary service to our customers, and driving business results.

• Drive continuous improvement in local market operations and results.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to ensure outstanding customer service.
• Maximize store sales and financial performance.
• Hire, train, and develop customer-focused associates.
• Manage inventory levels and store appearance.
• Ensure safety standards, monitor accounts receivable, and implement loss prevention procedures.
• Conduct weekly store meetings and manage daily accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Passionate about understanding and meeting customer needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Strong business acumen, preferably with auto parts background.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting of a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting.
• Ability to use the computer and phone.
