Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Team Members to join our team. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the movement and distribution of our products. Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This position involves storing, moving, and distributing merchandise efficiently. Additionally, you will provide some training to fellow employees and ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

• Efficiently move merchandise within locations to maximize space usage.
• Handle merchandise for display, storage, or delivery accurately.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for managing inventory flow.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, and assemble and wrap outgoing items.
• Provide training to colleagues and maintain professionalism in customer interactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assistance in grounds and building maintenance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and knowledge of tools and hardware assembly. A valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and familiarity with POS systems are desirable.
