Job Description
Vi Living is looking for an experienced Activities Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the Lifestyle staff and managing the Lifestyle department to create and implement lifestyle-enriching programs for our residents in Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Care. You will coordinate monthly resident programs, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, evaluate program success, and more.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and coordinate resident programs that contribute to overall wellness
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to enhance care delivery
- Evaluate program success and modify offerings based on resident feedback
- Document care according to policy standards
- Supervise, train, and manage Lifestyle department employees
- Establish community relationships and lead Resident Program Committees
- Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters, activity calendars, and materials
- Maintain inventory of programming supplies
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for skilled nursing activities
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
- Patience and ability to work with older adults
- Proficiency in MS Office and long-term care experience
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 5 years related experience with 1 year working with people with dementia
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Must have relevant licensure/certification (e.g., ADC, CPR, First Aid)
Pay Range
USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 / Year
