Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Activities Manager to join our team at Vi Living. As an Activities Manager, you will supervise the Lifestyle staff and manage the department responsible for creating and implementing lifestyle enriching programs for our residents in various care settings. This role is pivotal in ensuring the emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational wellness of our residents through a wide range of engaging activities and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and coordinate resident programs to promote whole person wellness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery and resolve resident care problems.
- Evaluate and modify program offerings based on resident feedback and preferences.
- Supervise Lifestyle department employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Establish and lead Resident Program Committees to enhance community engagement.
- Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters, activity calendars, and promotional materials.
- Procure and maintain inventory of programming supplies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for skilled nursing activities.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with older adults, including individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with supervisory experience.
- College Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Licensure/Certification as a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Pay Range
USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 / Year
