Job Description
Vi Living is seeking an experienced Activities Manager to oversee the Lifestyle department and develop enriching programs for residents in Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Care. As a key member of our team, you will create and coordinate activities that promote overall wellness and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Lifestyle staff and manage the creation of diverse resident programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery and resident experience.
- Evaluate program success and adapt offerings based on resident feedback.
- Hire, train, and lead department employees while fostering community relationships.
- Prepare and distribute promotional materials, maintain inventory, and lead program committees.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and experience in activities management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Patience and empathy in working with older adults.
- Proficiency in MS Office and long-term care knowledge.
- College degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience required.
- Licensure or certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist preferred.
Pay Range
USD $70,909.00 - USD $88,629.00 per year.
