Job Description
We are looking for a driven Business Development Consultant specializing in Education from Kindergarten to Grade 3 to join our team at Exhibit Concepts Inc. As our Education Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the education sector while nurturing existing client relationships. You will lead discussions with clients, negotiate contracts, present at events, and develop educator training sessions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify opportunities for our services.
- Collaborate with the Education Leader on growth strategies.
- Network, follow up on leads, and build strong business relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and educate on solutions.
- Create and deliver professional education solutions presentations.
- Drive onboarding and implementation processes efficiently.
- Maintain CRM data accuracy for sales and forecasting purposes.
- Design and create educator-supportive materials and provide training to clients.
- Travel occasionally to client facilities and industry events.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education or Curriculum Design, with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Office 365, strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in Early Childhood to 3rd Grade education or sales.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce.
Travel Requirements
Expect travel to client sites and events approximately 10-20% of the time.
