Job Description
Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their dedicated team. As part of Mentor Community Services under the Sevita family, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, supporting behavioral challenges, and helping participants achieve their developmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities.
- Build meaningful relationships and engage participants in community activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene and address behavioral challenges with empathy and patience.
- Support participants in achieving their developmental objectives such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to quality care.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and background clearance.
