Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Cashier to join the team at McDowell Store (Power & McDowell). As a cashier in our retail store, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining store standards.
Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Process all forms of payments using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at the register.
- Price merchandise accurately and maintain a tidy sales floor.
- Engage with customers, provide assistance, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Math skills preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions in English.
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Pass background check and drug screening, if required.
