Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Cashier to join our team at the University Store located at Gilbert & University. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining the sales floor standards. You will operate registers, process payments, and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Point of Sale (POS) duties and handle all payment transactions.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at the point of sale.
- Price items accurately and maintain sales floor organization.
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and math skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
