Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Cashier to join the Greenfield Store team located at 4422 E University Dr, Mesa, Arizona. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and promoting sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. Your responsibilities will include operating registers, maintaining sales floor standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process all forms of payments at the Point of Sale (POS).
• Request cash donations from customers at the POS.
• Price goods accurately using merchandise type and markings.
• Complete closing procedures as required.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance and greet customers warmly.
• Follow sales floor standards and stock merchandise in designated areas.
• Communicate using phones and paging systems for announcements.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Embody Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Pass background check and drug screen where applicable.
