Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join our store team at Oak Store (Scottsdale & Oak) and contribute to providing an exceptional customer experience. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for running registers, maintaining sales floor standards, and promoting sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. The starting pay for this position is $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and process all forms of payments.
  • Ask each customer for cash donations at POS.
  • Establish or identify prices of goods and maintain sales floor standards.
  • Complete closing procedures when necessary.
  • Greet and thank customers, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent customer service and math skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for the position.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
