Certified Home Health Aide

Job Description
As a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with Rochester Regional Health, you will provide care to clients in their homes, following their plan of care, and make a positive difference each day by demonstrating care and compassion to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Promote and restore patients' health by completing all activities listed in the care plan.
- Collaborate with Community Health Nurse/Therapist and perform various activities such as personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
- Maintain effective communication to convey patient health status, treatment plans, and progress.
- Accurately and completely document client care on activity sheet and adhere to required department and system protocols.

Education & Certifications
HHA - Home Health Aide certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED), NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV).
Physical Requirements
Medium work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
Pay Range
$17.60 - $19.50 per hour.
