Job Description
Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) is looking for an Experienced Construction Inspector to join our team in Wichita, KS. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing various types of construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect civil construction projects, new builds, and renovations to verify compliance.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Attend meetings, address questions, and recommend changes when necessary.
- Complete inspection reports, track contractor progress, and conduct final inspections.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction inspection experience.
- Knowledge of civil construction practices and regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week and travel within Kansas.
- High School Diploma or higher education.
Requirements
- Municipal water/waste water treatment plant inspection experience preferred.
- KDOT CITT and American Concrete Institute Certifications desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and technical equipment operation.
