Job Description
We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals at Sevita's Mentor Community Services. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work in community settings, assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation and support for outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
- Assist with daily living skills like meal preparation and medication administration.
- Support individuals in achieving developmental goals, budgeting, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
- Help with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Six months of human services experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clear background check.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to quality.
