Donation Attendant - PT
Location: 1046 S Country Club Dr, Mesa, Arizona, 85210
Job Type: Part-Time
Starting Pay: $13.85 / hour
Job Description
As a Donation Attendant, you will receive all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and place items in the appropriate location in the production room or sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Accept all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
- Responsible for correctly labeling outgoing Gaylords.
- Offer a receipt to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation.
- Write up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture, electrical, and other large items.
- Assist customers with loading furniture or other items.
- Maintain the placement of all merchandise as well as the organization of the production room.
- Assist in the loading or unloading of merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers, as needed.
- Safely operate pallet jack, sit-down, and/or standing forklift.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on all company-owned equipment, including sit-down and standing forklifts. Follow and ensure all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used.
- Provide floor care duties at a retail store, as needed.

- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for the position.
