Job Description
Join our team at UnitedHealth Group as an Epic Health Information Management Analyst, working on HIM configuration changes and builds to ensure quality and timeline adherence. As an essential part of the EHR Services practice, you will demonstrate expertise in Epic healthcare technology and be a mentor to team members. This role offers remote work flexibility across the U.S., challenging tasks, and clear development paths.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle HIM configuration changes and builds, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Translate user requirements into design specifications and mentor team members.
- Lead Epic software upgrade initiatives and design sessions.
- Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Third-Party Systems.
- Provide on-site support during go-lives and upgrades.
- Acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of software functionality and operational workflows.
- Develop application-specific training curriculum and materials.
- Adhere to system configuration and change control standards.
- Build relationships with end users, customers, and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Active certification in two Epic HIM areas.
- 5+ years of client experience and Epic healthcare knowledge.
- Subject Matter Expertise in relevant applications and revenue cycle metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of Epic CEE and knowledge in operational functions.
- Demonstrated ability in team management, communication, and leadership.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
